My brother in law suggested that my wife play Red Dead Redemption 2. I saw it was on sale from the Humble Store, and it gets downloaded through Epic Games.

So bought it intending on installing and running it on my SteamOS hand held.

I don't do any serious PC gaming. So I was frustrated to find that I have to install the Rockerstar Launcher and log in with a Rockstar account in order to play it. I jumped through a lot of stupid hoops to get that account set up and linked to the Epic Games account.

And after all that, the game won't start. The launcher starts, but not the game.

I'm not even irritated that the game won't start. I'm pissed off at the trash user experience of trying to get to the point where the game even tries to start.
