The bottom of the garden. Confusingly, the garden slopes *up* towards the bottom.
Bottom left the pond. The brick construction on the right is what we call the folly. Bees, other insects, birds and pond dwelling individuals love it. So do I.
Planted to feel and look natural, wild, full and overflowing. Weeds a.k.a. wildflowers are welcome.

As I said before, happiness is an overflowing garden. Here, the paved path from the patio to the pond is becoming almost impassable. As I walk, the plants grab me and touch my skin. Beautiful!

Best: Shed your clothes altogether if your garden is sufficiently private.

Happiness is an overflowing garden. At this time of the year, I cannot walk through the garden without the plants grabbing me and touching my skin. The garden is overflowing, difficult to navigate, easy to lose yourself in and hide from everyone else. Beautiful!

Part of the garden by the side of the house. Used to be a bare, utilitarian strip with only the tree, shrubs and hedging. I then transformed it into something more appealing over the course of three or four years. Wildflower mounds towards the back.
In the centre of the photograph, the bigger of our two Angelica archangelica (Garden angelica).
They are biennials but, curiously, in their third (!) year.

Roughly in the middle distance, from the left, a tall Angelica with a large flower head that is yet to open. Next to it the lower section of a larger tree and a stone birdbath. Behind all this on the right are wildflower mounds, with flowering Red campion just about visible. The rest of the background are shrubs and hedging, partly in the shade.

Glimpse into the strange construction that we inherited from the previous owners of the house. Essentially just three red brick walls, no roof, no front. We call it the #folly. I think it has a #romantic faded grandeur appeal. Some might call it #boho.
