So there is a reason why, when #RoyThomas, artist #JohnRomitaSr., and writer #LenWein devised a Canadian superhero for #MarvelComics in 1973-74, they came up with #Wolverine. Overtime, as the character’s backstory was revealed, the character was shown to be long-lived, and had fought in both WWI & WWII. During that time, he did not have access to his claws. The depiction of his activities during that time, perhaps unknowingly, reflect the Canadian military reputation. #ComicCover #CoverIllusration #ComicArt
