A historical red brick building in Newcastle, Australia. The Newcastle Wool Exchange. A square central frontage with 2 rows of 8 arched windows is framed at the top and side by flat cream concrete. Either side are shorter rectangles of red brick frontage, with a single arched window and the merino motif above, and thick vertical borders of the same flat cream concrete.

Recently visited this group of 19thC buildings that I’ve admired for a while. Hope to be working with the owner to rescue it and cement its future in the flat, agricultural landscape between Tain and Portmahomack. #ruralarchitecture
