I wound up turning my day into a #JalmariHelander marathon, which will spill over into tomorrow.

I started out watching #RareExports, as I’ve been watching my typical #ChristmasHorrorMovies lately, but then I realized Helander also directed #SISU, which I also love and am currently watching.

What I hadn’t seen was his second film, #BigGame, so I watched that second and it was also very good.

I won’t have time to watch #SISU #RoadToRevenge tonight, so I’ll be viewing it tomorrow.

L'extraordinaire film finlandais #Sisu (https://www.imdb.com/fr/title/tt14846026/), particulièrement connu pour ses dialogues (si on a une demi-douzaines de phrases sur tout le film, c'est le bout du monde) a donc eu une suite.

Dans le premier, le héro détruisait des nazis de toutes les manières et de préférence les plus absurdes et violentes possibles.

Huh. I just watched Finnish action movie Sisu, and damned if it wasn't awesome. Old FInnish guy takes out contingent of Nazi creeps... not much of a plot, but beautifully filmed and some really potent scenes.

My only gripe is that the showdown was a little too Hollywood. Other than that, it was really good. NOT for the squeamish.
