Dass mal jemand schön mittig durch das Steintor in #Rostock läuft, ich selbst auch schön mittig stehe, kein Auto im Hintergrund fährt und ich nicht wirklich auf das Motiv warten musste – etwas Glück gehört manchmal dazu.

Someone walking nicely in the middle through the Steintor in #Rostock, me also standing nicely centered, no car driving in the background and I didn't really have to wait for the motif - sometimes it takes a bit of luck.

Ein Mann läuft nachts durch einen erleuchteten Torbogen. Der Mann läuft mit dem Rücken zum Betrachter. Beide sind mittig zum Torbogen ausgerichtet. Auf der Fassade ist eine Inschrift angebracht: „Sit intra te concordia et publica felicitas“ – In deinen Mauern herrsche Eintracht und öffentliches Wohlergehen. Über der Inschrift flankieren zwei Löwen drei Wappen. Durch das Tor hindurch sind leere Straßen mit Ampeln und Straßenlaternen im Hintergrund erkennbar.

Vor einer komplett eingerüstet und abgehangenen Fassade steht ein kleines Bäumchen in der Morgensonne.

A year ago I went to the Hoh Rainforest and a number of young Elk came through grazing. They blocked the path for a good while. When I made it back to the trailhead there was a ranger telling people that although there are elk in the forest, you are incredibly unlikely to come across them. I quietly chuckled to myself as I headed to my car haha.
