Install an iris just a few nanometers away from the #ssh login attempt event horizon. Authorized login attempts must send an encrypted code over radio before the iris is opened.

Be aware that Sokar can try to burn your iris away so make sure to have a watchdog process dial out before Sokar can dial in again and keep the connection open for as long as possible so the iris can cool down.

Make sure there are no unattended and unburied SSH processes listening elsewhere and you'll be fine. No SSH keys needed unless you're dealing with "less primitive" peoples that can just walk through.

我开启注册后，决定尝试申请注册admin@gts.feddit.social，第一个蠢事来了。

1. iCloud过期，收不到邮件
   我的apple icloud早就爆满了，5G的空间大小塞了47GB的图片视频（icloud+订阅过期了），所以自从11月16号，我的icloud就没有接受过邮件了。
   当我清理完图片，又发现邮件没有像deepseek所说那样在存储恢复后受到邮件，好，白清空了，所以我需要去清理admin和我的xxx@icloud.com邮件。

2. 通过清理数据库来删除admin和xxx@icloud.com邮件
   因为我没有办法验证这个邮件地址，所以就算我接受了这个账户，也无法登陆它。
   我需要完全清除，再重新注册。

在那个批准界面，approve后，我看见suspended的提示，我也没多想就直接确实suspended了，然后才发现suspended让账户不可登陆，不可撤销。
我就需要用./gotosocial CLI去取消suspended，目前发现好像就算取消suspended了，只会有个gts.feddit.social/@admin，后段管理和webui是无法登陆的，我是个傻福，我需要再次进行第二步操作了。

Looking at ways to replace my elderly & noisy #diskstation with a silent #SSD #NAS...

Hardware: #raspberrypi 5 with a #geekworm X1004 SSD hat in a Geekworm P579 case, with a 480Gb NVMe stick from a defunct laptop, running Pi OS lite.

Software: tried #OpenMediaVault 7, too many crashes & hangs, total dog's breakfast. Looked at #CasaOS but don't trust the privacy policy.

Think I'll just set up #Samba via #SSH and forget fancy web GUIs. I seem to be more confident with the shell these days.
