Not much nice to say, but I know it’s Friday and for some people, woohoo, amirite? Me, not so much because it only means the last day of the business work week so I won’t be able to call about any appointments or medical questions or financial etc. until Monday. And then the apprehension I get mid-day knowing any national US “news” that is bad, we will not know about yet for a few more hours.

Sooooo, how about another #TipOfDay ? This is wherein I had to quickly soften brown sugar in a canister that had a nice gasket and seal, and a ceramic disk that was soaked and set into it in a loose top plastic bag last time I needed to have soft brown sugar. Rock hard! Ceramic disc dry! Oh dear I’m in a hurry. Can’t do microwave because canister has a long metal pin inside the hinge.

Ta-da, innovation. Started water to simmer in a wide pot on stove. Set canister in the pot, upright. 2 minutes later, soft brown sugar! Woohoo! #Sugar #BrownSugar #Baking #Cooking
