Llama la atención el poco recorrido que está teniendo en la gran N, aún durante su mes de estreno, el desenlace (qué alegría, sin cancelaciones abruptas) del relanzamiento de Sailor Moon, ahora Crystal, siguiendo el manga si no con microscopio sí con lupa. Notas:

Más de lo mismo. Crystal ha sido una historia consecuente hasta el fin con su narrativa. Directa, sin perder el tiempo (o la atención de la gente), con animación brillante llena de cuerpos casi de plástico y siluetas normativas. Sin diversidad fuera del peinado.

Folclore (o lore) el justo pero sin filo. La historia se queda roma, no toca el corazón en ninguna temporada porque no se le da sitio: todo es para la acción, que ni siquiera engancha, ¿y la adictiva parte de telenovela?

Tradicional pero... hay apuntes sáficos bonitos y los protas compartiendo lecho sin ropa.

Considering beginning a Sailor Moon Crystal rewatch once I finish the two series I'm currently working on, now that the Cosmos films (covering the final Stars arc) are available for streaming on Netflix. I've seen everything up through the Eternal films once already, but it's been few years, so enough time has passed that it wouldn't feel too soon to rewatch it all again before watching Cosmos. :sailormoonwow:

Started #SailorMoonCrystal the other day. It’s also sort of fine so far. Haven’t really run into the weird animation I sort of remember people complaining about back in 2014 when it first aired. Guess they fixed it? Doesn’t feel as charming as the original 90s series, but it looks slick?
