#LisaSavage was 2 debates. But there didn't allow her into the next debates. Pollsters refused to mention her when they were doing a poll on the race, instead only focusing on #SusanCollin & #SaraGideon, to only be picked. As well as the #Democrats spread this: "Don't vote for Lisa, it'll spoil the election" by just saying to vote for Sara first only.
In the end, we all know who won their reelection in #Maine.
In fact I can even provide examples where #RankedChoiceVoting / #RCV isn't much a final solution and where direct oppositions from #Democrats would occur:
In #Maine there was #LisaSavage (The Independent #Progressive Candidate) against #MaxLinn ( The #Independent Candidate), #SaraGideon (The #Democrats Candidate) & #SusanCollins (The #Republicans Candidate).
I want to insert my take on 2 examples.
In #Maine we had #LisaSavage, a teacher & union negotiator, who ran as an Independent with Green Values: Universal #Healthcare, Unionization, Clean #Water, etc. against #MaxLinn, #SaraGideon (The Dems Candidate) & #SusanCollins. She was, I believe, in 1 or 2 debates. But there was literally suppression of coverage, like not allowing her into the debates as well as pollsters not mentioning her when they were doing a poll on the race.
It's not completely an anti-Trump tide that's Susan Collins' problem. There are many, many good reasons to throw Collins out that have nothing to do with Donald Trump. Give her some credit.

Collins will say anything to get reelected and she has a long history of talking one way and acting in another.
In the end she follows the Republican, pro-Trump line with her actions but she tries to spin it in a different direction with her public pronouncements. She tries liberal-sounding statements to support her conservative pro-Trump votes. See Kavanaugh and her budget votes for 2 examples.

It's time to vote out Senator Susan Collins. She is a chameleon Senator closer to Trump politics than she is willing to admit. Her vote for Brett Kavanaugh ended any claim that she's an independent thinker.
