He's had an upgrade, now sporting a snazzy red jacket, French Police hat (with 'Gendarme' scrawled across it), new boots and his old hunting rifle.

Fresh flower pots and webbing defend the precious veggies..

Meanwhile my own deer woes continue - opening my window yesterday and startling a stag who was INSIDE the vegetable plot.

I've yet to find/patch the fence hole..
