Heute, darf ich eigentlich alles sagen, ich darf alles senden, ich darf alles per SMS, per Whatsapp, da gibt es also wenige Grenzen, es gibt Grenzen, auf die kommen wir vielleicht noch zu sprechen, aber ganz wenige Grenzen. Manchmal habe ich den Eindruck, das macht auch eine gewisse Verblödung aus. Weil jeder sozusagen alles rausposaunen kann, was ihm gerade so einfällt, ohne dass sofort widersprochen wird.“

Success! I was able to get a hold of a set of Medium length "Ruthenium" aka "Dark Chrome" #StrapLocks S-Locks. #Schaller quit making this color a few years ago. I looked around a few different places and even had an order canceled. I don't get why they quit making this color. A ton of guitars have this kind of hardware finish. Installation pictures coming soon.

There are two columns and three rows. Each corresponding row has identical parts. At the top is the horseshoe-shaped lock itself. In the middle are the screw thread locking wheels, which used to be standard hex nuts. At the bottom are the replacement strap buttons, with a hex screw embedded inside.

Repaired a Schaller wah / volume for a friend today. Here's a peak inside, pre-cleanup.

That wiring is a good reminder that chasing vintage gear is… not always justified :) The same model is currently listed on Reverb for 250€

I have an epiphany. No, not the web browser.

#GHSstrings half round on the bottom of my 6-string #guitar. Make it G# standard. The rest are flatwounds. .22g wound topmost

Double up courses a la #12string but, only the top 3. Plain (neon white) #DRstrings +1 octave.

Tailpiece & bridge rattle. I adjusted what I could. Slightly better.
Replace w/ #Bigsby vibrato & #Schaller bridge. File custom ridges & lube for strings.
Replace nut. Black natural material.
