The memorial was given by Scottish-Americans to honour Scots who had served in the first World War.

Adam's a great guy and is part of the #RoyalMile just beneath #EdinburghCastle for more than twenty years now. On the west side of the Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh is the Ross Fountain. Sculpted in the neoclassical style by Jean-Baptise Jules Klagmann and originally cast at the foundry of Antoine Durene in Sommevoire near Paris.
