Btw, don't bother with the Remastered Edition. They kept most of the bugs and then added new ones. I guess that's the remastered part. The graphics might theoretically be nicer but you can't use that because if you crank up the settings the leaky engine gobbles up more RAM than a VMWare server running a Microsoft Exchange cluster and crashes every time you fast travel to another town.

Also for some reason everything has a stupid tint almost all of the time. In this case brownish.

Dead wolf, eating dirt. My chainmail gloves are full of wolf blood from punching it many times until it stopped attacking me. Behind me is the Nirnroot I came to pluck, somehow still intact despite all the trampling. Some spells are active, but nobody knows which because the icons are mystifying. I've been in situations of giving a lecture or a workshop where there was no screen or projector available, or... No cable. The usual workaround that I've seen friends and colleagues use is to have everyone join jitsi/zoom/bbb/etc and do the screen sharing there. This works but feels like a grotesque variation of the "a multinational corporation's service as the easiest way of copying files between two nearby devices" entry from the crappy everyday tech bingo.

So here is a response with television, a simple binary that takes screenshots of your desktop at regular intervals and serves the result over http on an amazingly well formatted html page that can be accessed by everyone over LAN/WLAN with their browser. It's *not* a video stream, it's really a 1fps style screensharing web thing which is plenty enough for slides, GUI/TUI/CLI action, etc.

Because I just remembered that an other person on IRC asked why I wasn't running Chimera Linux on the Dell well the answer is NGreedia of course.

The "Dell Inspiron 15 Gaming 7567" comes with a Nvidia 1050 TI Mobile (GP107, Pascal) nouveau isn't in a shape on Pascal GPUs to do gaming and that's what I definitly want to do on my travel machine.

Chimera is a musl based distribution (like Alpine or Void) therefor the nvidia binary only drivers aren't an option.

However, I made myself a nice portable Chimera installation on a external SSD a while back so booting it up is always an option.
