When to Change the Rules of Scrum?

A consequence might be that they don’t end up with Scrum anymore. Strictly speaking, you don't do Scrum when you don’t use a Product- and Sprint Goal. When you have multiple Product Owners for one product, it’s not Scrum. When you don’t use Sprints, it’s not Scrum.

If it works for the team, cool! Scrum should never be the goal in itself.

Nach meinem Gefühl war es ein Fehler, dass #Scrum so kommerzialisiert wurde. Der #Scrumguide ist zwar kostenlos, aber die Erläuterungen, warum der Scrumguide so entwickelt wurde und das Scrum Training, gibt es erst gegen Bezahlung (z.B. die Bücher von Jeff Sutherland). Die fehlende Offenheit kann zu Verständnisproblemen von Scrum führen.

The other day I listened to a podcast episode about the latest version of the #ScrumGuide. They mentioned that it got rid of the term #ServantLeader, which it used previously to describe the position of #ScrumMaster.

I know the main point of that revision was to rewrite it from scratch and shorten it, but maybe the authors also share those feelings about the term?

Personally, I just found the term a bit weird; I didn't know it has a history outside #Scrum. Good to know! Thanks, @grimalkina.
