After all the rainy mornings lately I got to experience a solid sunrise again. When I arrived at work the clouds darkened the sky so as one could think someone had turned back the clock to night time.

From above, right and left, many fine black twigs and branches of the surrounding winter trees on the shore protrude into the picture. Further back, the lake becomes a little brighter and the sky also seems to clear up a little. On the horizon you can again see the narrow, dark, wooded shore opposite.

In diesem Bild sieht man das klare, leicht wellige Wasser und den Grund des Sees im Vordergrund. Von oben, rechts und links ragen viele feine schwarze Zweige und Äste der umgebenden Winterbäume am Ufer in das Bild. Weiter hinten wird der See etwas heller, und auch der Himmel scheint ein wenig aufzuklaren. Am Horizont ist wieder das bewaldete schmale dunkle gegenuberliegende Ufer zu sehen.

A mostly clear sky before sunrise. A light golden lining is visible over the mountains and the lake. The Venus is still visible and the Imperia from Constance harbor is lit and visible to the right.
