1/ Last night we had an F4 #Tornado. Everyone in my home is safe. Power is out, maybe for several days. Severe tree damage at my house, nothing else.
I checked on several elders, all safe.
The city has power outages, lines down, roads blocked, trees and branches down everywhere and some roads flooded. Some businesses closed.
It’ll take a few days, but we’ll be back to normal soon.

We went on an impromptu storm chase today -- first attempt of the season -- not expecting to see much. We didn't see much in the way of cloud structure, which is my favorite. As I stood outside our lunch stop for a few moments shooting a quick video, I did manage to capture this twin CC lightning discharge. The day's high winds made it thrilling and we had a good time. Nice to be home, though, with trees and branches falling all over the place! #lightning #severestorm #stormchase #videoframe
