Making something for a special kid that has been struggling recently.

It's a cat toy with its own, smaller cat toy. If I could continue to add in tiny repeating cats I would.

Der petrolfarbene Tanzkostümrock mit den Chiffoneinsätzen ist an der Schneiderpuppe drapiert. Man sieht die Bestickung mit blauen Perlen und Pailletten am Bund sowie die Chiffoneinsätze mit Bestickung.

It's very hot in London today so I'm wearing something I sewed as a test, which didn't quite work without alterations. So a safety pin has been employed! #Sewing #GarmentSewing

Photo shows the front of a wrap dress I sewed in old sheets, which was a trial run and doesn't quite fit right, so there is also a safety pin holding it in place.

Check out these closeups of a lead seal from Tune on Gotland. It's probably from a bale of imported Continental woolen cloth, and dates from 1350-1650. Hoping someone will help me identify it.

I'm on a roll, I made another bag. This one is called "The Retreat Bag", and has a frame to hold it open. The fabric is custom "solar punk" fabric I purchased from @moraghickman .
I've been saving it for a special bag, and this one will be a tool bag for a newly graduated computer engineer. Now to add some tools for her.

A dear friend made that amazing paper flower; another dear friend gave me the china. I made the cozy & the picture magnet. The sea made the shell. The remaining items came from thrift shops. Life can be so good.

A zippered pouch in front of flamingo bag described in previous toot. The pouch has a pink zipper tape with iridescent rainbow teeth. You can see a pink flamingo charm hanging on the left side of the open zipper. The denim has a line of pink palm trees stitched across the front. Inside, you can barely see more of the flamingo fabric.

Finished the flossing, and kept doing slightly different variations because I got a little bit bored. 😄 The main function of the flossing is to decoratively secure the ends of the bones inside their channels, so they'll not wiggle around so much, and also will take longer to work themselves through the fabric or the ribbon.
Also put on a couple more leaves because I wanted to.
