"I'll Be There for You" is a song by American #popRock duo #theRembrandts. The song was written by #DavidCrane, #MartaKauffman and #AlleeWillis as the main #themeSong to the #NBC sitcom #Friends, which was broadcast from 1994 to 2004. American rock band #REM was originally asked to allow their song "#ShinyHappyPeople" to be used for the Friends theme, but they turned the opportunity down. "I'll Be There for You" was subsequently written.

The second season of #shinyhappypeople is out and i really think more people need to watch both seasons. The first season greatly influenced my understanding of the US's current trajectory, especially after my cousin told me about his personal experience being groomed as part of the Joshua generation.

If you want to understand why so many Americans don't buy into the basic principles of a diverse democracy, season 2 is a good place to start. It's directly antithetical to their worldview.

Anybody know what the end-game is? The documentary made it sound like they want to put an end to democracy altogether.

The "#ShinyHappyPeople" #sequel highlights the #Christian boot camp that traumatized a generation

The three episodes focus on #TeenMania, a Christian #ministry founded by #RonLuce, with a goal of getting children to turn to #Jesus and reject temptations like #sex, #drugs, and #alcohol.

But the #darkside of the ministry destroyed so many lives.

#ShinyHappyPeople Season Two.

I haven’t made it past the first episode. It took me until last night to even consider starting.

While I didn’t experience Teen Mania Ministries beyond attending Acquire the Fire events, I have friends who went to the Honor Academy and on Global Expeditions trips.

I once wanted to do both, but somehow things shifted, and I ended up attending Roberts for my freshman year instead.
