Just a quick update.
I'm crashing out after eating & washing up. Tired; work has drained me. I'm hoping to get caught up on sleep tonight.
Today, I only have enough spoons left to cook a simple family dinner. Made lemongrass chicken wings & am making watercress soup now.

I picked up a snazzy pair of shoes for Mom while in Chinatown, buying some food supplies. She loves them. Mom hasn't had a new pair of shoes in 5 years. I'm buying her some new sneakers with next paycheque.

I peeled mandarin oranges & a pomelo - juicing them. I'm drying their rinds by woodstove. We use them for culinary/medicinal/insects deterrent.

I would not be looking at a pair of Nikes (at £240 a pop) to shave fractions of my running times, but putting in 120k+ a week, I do go through them at a heck of a rate. So while I will continue to rely on the steady trickledown of ASOS’s, typically purchased in pairs during an inevitable sale, I am interested - if those claims about origin and environmental impact hold true 🤔 a big IF. Anyone tried them?
