Spotted several new (to me) #fungi on today's walk. Haven't seen a puffball like this in years, and the standing pale #shroom is enormous! Trails were soggy, but the surprises are worth the squelch.

These pretty ones have an amazing latin name - Clitocybe nebularis. In English it is known as the cloud funnel, among other names. It is edible, although many people are allergic to it.

In a sea of leaves, I found this amazing mushroom with the fantastic latin name Infundibulicybe geotropa! It is known as the trooping funnel or monk's head in English. Edible too, but not the best idea when found next to a very busy road.

These logs were covered in false turkey tail, a hairy little fellow reminiscent of the popular turkey tail mushroom. The colours really stood out on the dark wood.

This funny fellow has an amazing name in English - The Fluted White Elfin Saddle! Mushroom and fungi names are a lot less colourful in danish - this is a Kruset Foldhat in Danish, literally 'frilly folded cap', which is, however, a very descriptive name if nothing else.
