Nowadays, every time I get an email or linkedin message about a job opportunity at a start-up, I can't help but think about the business model that they will inevitably have to adopt in order to get the VCs their return on investment, and not gonna lie, it's often a big damper on the attractiveness of the opportunity. Does every business idea that involves software need oodles of venture capital $$ to get going?

Honestly, it's quite annoying that the vast majority of #tech #podcasts are hosted by #SilliconValley #techbros. A lot of the content is quite useful, and I do get to learn useful things that I didn't know before.
But just the total lack of, anything but superficial, criticism of the big tech companies, just accepting whatever nonsense they release without question, the horrible grindset mentality, and the toxic positivity just wears me down so much.
