@poledance 💅MOTIVATION MONDAY: When I first started posting my pole dance videos regularly, someone I had hardly spoken to since high school commented something along the lines of “yikes, this isn’t very graceful. Kinda cringe tbh.” Normally I’m pretty good with criticism (if it’s constructive) but there was nothing really constructive about that comment and since I was just starting out, it really got to me. A few years later I’m here to say that dancing does not need to be graceful. It does not need to be slow, graceful, demure, coquettish, or pretty. It can be loud. chaotic. Insane. Yearning. Deep. Intense. Dramatic. That’s the kind of dancer I am. Moreover, I’m also here to say the only standards you need to meet are yours and no one else’s. I’m not graceful, I’m powerful, and that’s just as valid.

The #US women ( #Korda, #Zhang & #Vu ) underperformed at the Olympics Golf Competition but #LydiaKo made the competition worth watching by taking the #GoldMedal & completing an Olympic "hat trick" winning not only the Gold but also a #SilverMedal (#Rio) & #BronzeMedal (#Toyko) in Women's Golf, more medals in golf held by any player, male or female. 👏
Winning the Gold Medal also qualified Lydia for the #LPGA #HOF. 🙂

Both #SimoneBiles & #SuniLee fell & failed to medal in the Women's Individual "BalanceBeam competition today. 😲
Rebecca #Andrade also failed to medal in this competition placing 4th with #Simone in 5th & #Suni in 6th. All three were expected to medal.
On the other hand, Andrade took the #GoldMeal in the Women's Individual #FloorExercise competition but Simone performed more poorly than expected & "only" took the #SilverMedal, while Jordan #Chiles won the #BronzeMeal after a scoring inquiry was sustained giving her an additional 1/10th of a point to edge out Ana Barbosu (Romania) by only 0.066 points.
While disappointing for Simon & Suni, there's no need to feel sorry for them because Simone ended the Women's Gymnastic competition with 3 Gold & 1 Silver Medals; Suni won 1 Gold & 2 Bronze Medals; and #Jordan won 1 Gold & 1 Bronze Medal.
So, congratulations to them & the rest of the US Women's Gymnastics team!!!! 👏

Tommy #Fleetwood, who started the day 1 back & who also shared the lead thru most the day, had to scramble to shoot a 5 under 66 to win the #SilverMedal at 18 under par.👏
Hideki #Matsuysma came from 3 back at the start of the day to shoot a 6 under 65 to win the #BronzeMedal at 17 under, which was redemption for Hideki losing out on the Bronze Medal in Tokyo in the 2020 Olympic games.👏
AI reached the level of 12-year-old Terence Tao! Both won a Silver medal with 28 points.
