So, time for the big #Photography thread from #Skansen in #Stockholm.
To recap (c.f. https://chaos.social/@crypticcelery/114689603671292923), Skansen is a large open air museum, mostly on the history of the region, but also an event location, and it has a bunch of animals as well.
Incidentally, that last bit is where I spent the most time and took the most shots :3

So, first, two unrelated images, and then animols.

A photo looking up a cobblestone street surrounded by mostly wooden buildings. At the end of the street, we see a tarvern (Krog), which, unlike other buildings has a roof made of shingles. A few buildings to the left of the street seem to be made of stone, but the rest is wooden, with a reddish color (a paint made with left-overs of the ample iron production in the region, which made the wood last much longer). Also at the end of the street ist a small electric car thingie the Skansen employees use to get around (this was past the closing time of the ticket stalls, so the park was almost fully abandoned).

A photo of an old log cabin/house. This was apparently the first two story building moved to Skansen a long time ago.
The ground floor was for living in, and had a privy (which can ironically be seen now through an open window). The first floor would be used to sleep in in summer, and store grains after the harvest.

Strolling down from #skansen, #bergen today, we came across this public backyard at the end of an alley. This weird #tree turns out to be two trees in one: #ivy clinging to a #birch tree. #ThickTrunkTuesday
