War zum ersten mal mit einer VR Brille in Skyrim. Überwältigend wenn du 1 Welt so gut kennst 😭 #pico4vr #skyrimvr

So I was really struggling with you know.. not dying. I tried out the archery as a last hail Mary with mixed success... until indiscovered that left trigger brings up a target reticule.

Now its still vr, my right hand (arrow) still affects my aim, but omg, this is a gamechanger. I can actually see where I'm shooting. Yes it's less immersive but I need to use everything I can to stay alive rn lol. #skyrimVR

So despite playing on adept instead of expert, and beelining to smithing, I'm really struggling with this modpack. Enemies are smarter, they seem to attack in packs, and I feel like I have been nerfed. #skyrimVR

It's started... downloading a new mod list for #skyrimVR. Minimalist overhaul. Which a new game and re doing my early game grind 😅

So, according to the wiki, you can have an arcane enchanter in the main hall? Hmmm. #skyrimVR

Well, I guess I'll have to check that out tomorrow, seeing as it's almost 11 pm on a school night. Not putting the headset back on now lol

I now have my fully enchanted ebony armour. 😤😁

I swapped out a fortify destruction / resist magic ring with a resist shock / resist magic ring. I value Max resists more than the 4th fort destruction enchant (I was maxxed out anyway).

I should be immune to dragon breath now. Come at me alduin! #skyrimVR #skyrim

10 more smithing until I can craft daedric armour.... hmm.

I think I will craft one ebony set for myself, if only for the double enchants. I really need better armour now and it can't wait.

After that I can grind to 90, get the daedric armour for myself, Sophia gets the ebony, until I craft another set for her.

I need to update my enchant potions and crafting armours anyway so all this will take time.

It's 10pm on a Sunday night and I still don't have my ebony armour 😭 #skyrimVR

I'm at that awkward stage of the game where dragons show up unannounced whenever I fast travel. Very awkward since I'm grinding enchant and I don't have my endgame armour yet.

50 health pots later.. #skyrimVR

I think if I ever do another playthrough, it will be commanding my own platoon of: sophia, Lydia & summons. Go for conjuration and the usual crafting skills, equip my companions and heal as required.

Maybe shouts and alteration/Illusion for crowd control #skyrimVR

Anyway, the thousand steps in #VR is fuuuuuuuucking awesome.

There was a storm raging down in the valley below as I climbed the mountain to high hrothgar. Sooo beautiful, so immersive. #skyrimVR

So apparently, you can't give baalgruf ulfrics axe until you do bleak falls barrow and kill your first dragon. So I did that. Found out you *can* have lydia as a companion in addition to sophia.

So naturally, i had to get her properly kitted out. I bought a ton orichalcum ingots, donned my blacksmith's gear & scoffed my fortify smithing pots & got to work. #skyrimVR

I'm really taking a beating in #skyrimVR on expert. I guess I need better armour again lol.

I was planning on doing a mage playthough but i can really only survive the fights with mace and shield atm.

So yeah until I get OP levels of smith-enchant-alchemy going, it's going to be gritty fight after gritty fight. #gaming

But yeah, #skyrimVR is amazing with the FUS mods (& DLAA on the rtx 3080 haha).

The gestures make for a particularly immersive magic experience; waving my hands around to cast spells, feels exactly like how magic would work if it were real. I feel like a proper mage 🧙‍♀️

I'm getting really close to the point in my #SkyrimVR modding adventure where I don't need to use menus at all any more

• Weapons are holstered on my body
• Dialogue and shouts are spoken out loud IRL
• Spells, potions, food are equipped or used with the "spell wheel" mod
• Quicksaving is done by saying "quicksave"

It's basically just inventory management that requires a menu now, which I'm fine with

I just spent some time with a fellow gamer who streamed a session in #SkyrimVR for me, that was cool, since I hadn't seen #Skyrim VR before. Also got an introduction to the custom follower Remiel, who I hope to try in my next modded playthrough.
