Help?!

I dropped a stitch when attaching yarn for a forethought heel. Toe down sock, stitch on the toe-side of the hole so the stitches are 'upside down'. I cannot get my brain around how to pick it up properly. Anyone with a (link to a) good explanation? I really don't want to unravel the whole foot.

One down, one more to go.

Colors from the picture above are more accurate. I made an additional modification while I was at it: some ribbing under the arch. I've done that a few times in the last few years and quite liked it but then I forgot about that again. Now let's see if my partner likes that.

Finally some #knitting to show.

These socks were a bit of a drag somewhere during the second sock - knit group yesterday helped me through most of the foot and then I could motivate myself to finish them today.

The yarn is a very light pink with speckles in darker pink and stripes in broken color in black and darker pink.

The socks have s small lace pattern that looks a bit like stacked owls.

Chaos socks. Now with extra chaos.

Won’t continue the full slip stitch structure from the foot as it pulled in too much, and colourwork made it less stretchy.

So now black stripes of plain knit interspersed with slip on the front and rib on the back. The second sock is guaranteed to not match.

This will infuriate my partner. 😈

Trying out my paw pad idea on some worn socks, before I commit to putting it on handknit ones.

The anti-slip is white, so I added a drop of red acrylic paint to turn it pink. Gonna let it dry and do another coat. Fingers crossed! #SockKnitting #toebeans

More socks (I hope my daughter likes them because they are for her)

The pattern I'm basing this on is called "Fairy Maiden", but i think it looks like little stacked owls 🦉 (I'm mostly just taking the pattern stitch, the rest is how I construct socks all the time).

I'm getting on with my planning what large project to tackle next, but not yet there, so I'm keeping myself occupied with small ones.

A sock knitting project in progress - the leg of one sock is mostly done and pinned on top of the ball of yarn.

Yarn is a very light pink with flecks of darker pink and black. The flecks are creating wide stripes. The flecks are subtle enough so they don't completely distort the pattern stitch. The pattern stitch is creating columns that look a bit like tiny owls.

Semaine 2 : J’ai oublié de prendre une photo la semaine dernière. J'avais fini le visage du chat mais je n'ai pas pu mettre la chaussette. Le talon ne passait pas. J’ai dû attendre une semaine pour avoir des aiguilles d’une taille au dessus qui manquaient dans mon set. Me voilà donc reparti dans le jacquard.
