@edsu and Linked Data Platform specs define behaviours for POST, PUT and PATCH that might be relevant?

A short part 5 in the pantry blog series introduces a pantry history event log as a point of truth - recognising that pantry data will only ever be a partial snapshot because updates are likely to be occasional and incidental as part of other activities.

Why not just look in the fridge?
Because a pantry app can act as a memory aid for what was in the fridge last time it was checked or used.

Part 4 of the pantry app blog series modifies the pantry and product panes and adds location and cookbook panes to answer the questions:

What can I cook?
What do I need to buy?

@jg10 thanks! I'll see if I can find a place where I can suggest a few docs updates to #solidproject 🙂

Part 3 of my pantry app blog series links recipes to a user defined pantry - and whether the ingredients are available.

We depart from the Umai data model but try to keep cooperative interoperability in mind.

In the process, I share my first attempt at a draft spec for Data browser Open-With functionality, supporting dynamic loading of resources either within internal panes or external apps.

In part 2 of my pantry app blog series, the app supports opening arbitrary resources and we refactor the code into a compatible recipe pane that is also used in a pod browser app.

I've decided that the most appropriate way of presenting my pantry app is through a blog series. Here's a first instalment ...

Joined Solid World today! Interesting: how do you make two apps interoperable without having them communicate with each other? Can use RDF or specs written by groups like W3C groups. (eg. ActivityPub), and can also have an app create a new spec and publicize it for interoperability. Then we can use JSON, Amazon Ion (open-source superset of JSON with extra features) for our data, or RDF and W3C vocabularies which seem great for interoperability!
Thanks for the amazing webinar!

We just posted a re-recording of the presentation of ActivityPods we did during #FOSDEM 2025. It focus on decentralized architecture, and mentions BlueSky and @nextgraph. It was nice meeting many people involved in the fediverse and #SolidProject !
