The Shuttle STS-45 #otd 1992 kept the ATLAS-1 atmospheric telescope for a range of experiments UV included. The Pallet hub was german but the Igloo decompression hull around and inside the bay came from Belgium 🇧🇪.

While improvising the small show of cover versions this week, I thought of that older #micromusic interpretation of #Kraftwerk's #Spacelab. I had to dig a little to find it again. It's from #8BitWeapon called "Spacelab 2001" and was part of #8BitOperators' tribute album released 2007. Great clip. I have to admit I absolutely love everything about that version!
🎂 Il y a 40 ans ce 28 novembre, le premier laboratoire européen en orbite basse, le #Spacelab, rentrait en service sur la Navette Columbia, mission STS-9. Le premier astronaute ESA, Ulf Merbold, était à bord.
Ce premier de 16 vols a conduit au module Columbus de l'ISS.
