This is the Spectravideo SVI-328 with the superexpander with 2 floppy drives. This was a machine targeted at business. An expansion card for displaying 80 cols was availbale and it was able to run CP/M.
The MSX standard was based on this computer and its little brother the SVI-318. The image is from a magazine ad of 1985 and IMHO it looks quite impressive.

@ralen I do, but I don't rely on any one instance's network/front page. I tend to use my account like an aggregator. I search the wider network, and when I find some I like I follow them...it takes a while but over time you gain a decent subscription list.

In partnership with The Immortal John Hancock, Electric Adventures is creating versions of Block’em Sock’em for the Colecovision, MSX and original Spectravideo computers.
Most game mechanics have been completed, just need to enhance to better take advantage of the hardware, adjust animations, new game play elements, sound and music.
May look at doing a SG-1000/SC-3000 release as well.

@siliconundergro As far as I can see, you only forgot a few: the venture of #Kyocera into the #MSX craze under their #Yashica brand, the very sexy #Sord M5 and #Memotech MTX (further proto-MSX machines akin to #Spectravideo) and #EACA, e.g.. BTW there were #Laser computers prior to their #AppleII and PC clones that were loosely based on either the #TRS80 or their #Creativision console respectively.
The #PeerTube channel on #SpectraVideo is up and running, completed a few imports from the old #Youtube channel and said "buh bie" to all the Google shenanigans.

Sigo investigando el Dandanator a full con la CZ Spectrum y la Spectrum 128 +2A. Saqué por un rato la C128 (quedó la 1571 por ahí) y conecté la SVI-738 para cargar algunos juegos y correr la demo original que venía con la máquina. Tengo que pasar a discos reales las imágenes del CP/M 2.2. 🕹😎
