a serene of a 'tundra jungle' world, in a bit of a sparce area in terms of the local foliage. vibrant 'inverted firs' dot the snowy hills, with raptor lifeforms running around in their natural habitat, unaware of the immense constructions that presences beyond their comprehension use in their every day lives.

MFA open studios at Concordia are happening Feb. 19th.

Le livre posé debout sur une surface blanche indéfinie, comme s'il existait déjà. Une illusion fabriquée par Zariel, aux trois dimensions inquiétantes. Le titre, Nout, est écrit en jaune sur bleu sombre. Deux comètes au tracé blanc poudreux, une grande et une petite, grimpent en parallèle vers l'espace infini. Elles évoquent des spores prises dans un daguerrotype.

Something funny happened regarding this little carnivorous ceratopsian I came up with for a #Spectember challenge years ago. This week I found out a certain respected paleoartist had independently invented basically the same animal by accident.

Honestly I find this validating, vindicating even. It has to be a sign that a speculative evolution concept is solid if several people end up landing on it on their own.

A mossy green bipedal dinosaur with a mottled pattern against a gradient background. It has long sharp claws on its forelimbs and its legs are slender and muscular. While it resembles a theropod the sharp beak at the tip of its jaws, protruding jugals and a tiny frill reveal its ceratopsian ancestry.

This is so cool! I love the sense of motion in their poses.

It's a drawing of creatures with blue round bodies and pterodactyl like white wings. They have four eyes and what look like mandibles and insect-like mouth parts. The back legs are black and segmented as in arthropods.

The abdomen is gray and possibly covered in fuzz.

Small and fierce, the Wrack Wing is a common sight along the sandy coastlines of the planet Chriirah. Like the closely related Bluestick Flyer, these creatures could easily fit in the palm of a hand but are generally left alone: when provoked, their mandibles can draw blood.

When the tide is high the wrack wings nestle in communal roosts beneath drift-wood and dune vegetation, huddling together for warmth and mutual protection. When the tide retreats, they move out onto the beach to hunt alone and feast on marine life washed ashore. Competition is fierce, and little squabbling groups form and posture for the right to a kill.

The wrack wing is also a capable hunter when needed, able to overpower small prey living among the dunes and the inter-tidal zone.

Многие зрители здесь увлекаются созданием собственных животных или даже миров, у кого-то это просто наброски, у кого-то - целые проекты.
И сегодня с радостью представляю вам один из таких проектов!

Я начал увлекаться созданием своих миров во всё удаляющемся от нас 2019 году, с тех пор я следил за почти всеми проектами в жанре спек био, я видел и взлёт и угасание этой темы на ютубе и формуах. Постепенно я начал замечать то что многие новые миры шли по одним и тем же шаблонам, давно отработанным Alien Biospheres и прочими проектами в данном жанре...

Однако авторы упускали одно... Жанр относится к научной фантастике, смысл которой в бесконечном множестве вариаций необычных форм, а этот фантастический дух спек био начало терять, несчётное количество часов было потрачено на споры со спекулятивными биологами из разных проектов... Пока в один момент кто-то мне не сказал: А если не нравится, попробуй сам сделать лучше!!!

И я принял этот вызов...

Итак я представляю вашему вниманию новый спекулятивно биологический проект, который удивит вас необычными идеями, и сложными научными (в основном биохимическими) взаимосвязями, которые сплетаются в единую картину нового мира, Мира планеты Рани...

В проекте есть: Красивые 3д модельки, нарисованные в ручную 2д анимации, а также для тех кто любит биологический и биохимический юмор есть дополнительный бонус: мемы на выше изложенные темы прямо в ролике. Короче можно и посмеяться и узнать что-то новое для себя в плане биохимии и проследить за становлением нового фантастического мира.

This semester I worked on a speculative evolution project titled "Bestiarium von Übermorgen", where I explored how the fauna of Germany might look after 10 million years and how the current impact humans have on nature will greatly affect nature in even such a long time after we are gone.
I might show some of the animals over the next weeks.
