I said Meg Raspberry (or "S'berry" as the adorable Sophie calls her) has Lead Precure energy before, last week's episode basically cemented that. She is basically Cure Happy with Macaron levels of gay. Change my mind.

New anime: The Gorilla Godās Go-To Girl doesnāt look like a new masterpiece but like an enjoyable fantasy anime starring a woman who gets thrown into a male-dominated profession. I like that setup.
Sophia already shows hints of gaining confidence from her new skills and sheās also compassionate. The guys are not that impressive so far and it does give some reverse harem feels, but I donāt mind for now.

I'm mostly caught up on seasonal anime and - my following list appears to be Kowloon Generic Romance, Can a Boy-Girl Relationship Survive?, Food For The Soul, Shoshimin, and Aharen-san S2. This season of Wind Breaker is incredible...I love that this anime is heartfelt, in addition to being a fight driven shÅnen anime! There are healthy takes on how to be a person, with examples of extremes one should not dabble in.
New anime: #KowloonGenericRomance fascinates me with all the world building and detailed backgrounds. But also, obviously, because it presents a mystery that slowly reveals itself bit by bit. I can also say that the romance part from the title is there and I appreciate that itās there with characters who are over 30.
Itās really got me hooked wanting to know what is going on so hereās hoping that the show will actually have a satisfying conclusion.

Iāve been following the manga so the content is nothing really new to me but it made me go like āah, I really like this series and its charactersā.
Nico with her chaos energy and never learning (strangely it doesnāt get annoying for me) and straight-laced Morihito are just a nice combination to watch and some of their shenanigans in the first episode were already quite funny. I know this will last so I keep watching the anime.

A relaxed hobby seriesā¦ actually I am not sure what more to say. The characters are likable enough and Iām learning a bit about photography that I didnāt know yet. I think Iāll enjoy this.
New anime: Princession Orchestra
The first episode had nothing I didnāt expect knowing that this is by the same team as Symphogear but more family-friendly. It really feels like a mashup of PreCure and Symphogear.
The songs and performance are okay but not stunning. I guess like with PreCure I need a bit more than one episode to really tell if itās good.
One thing irks me, I donāt like that Alicepia is only for girls since that is obvious sexism and probably also excludes trans girls and nonbinaries (I like to be surprised, though). Other idol shows have done better (Zombieland Saga) and even PreCure was more progressive than that in some seasons (Henri, Cure Wing)ā¦

New anime: #MaebashiWitches was what I watched in hopes of finding a better magical girl meets singing anime than You & Idol PreCure but I canāt say Iām convinced that this is it.
There being some conflict among the characters is understandable, but throwing in 5 characters at once is a bit too much.
I guess it comes with the genre that most of the characters made me think of magical girls I already knew. The pink and purple ones are a bit too extreme in their characteristics and the other 3 didnāt make a big impression.
The songs are also not that catchy, I didnāt really feel like I want to rewind and listen to/ watch the performance again.
I donāt have the feeling that further episodes will be drastically differentā¦

New anime: #ToBeHeroX first and foremost looks amazing! The visuals are really a great and I like how the art style shifts between 2D and 3D for different scenes.
Story-wise this world reminds me of MHA (it doesnāt help that I watched that yesterday) but the hero business seems way more capitalized on by companies, so I guess Tiger & Bunny would be the more fitting comparison. But the main characterās circumstances are quite new and Iām curious to see how heāll grow into his role - or face despair, just like the guy heās trying to be.
Overall Iām hopeful that this will be an interesting but dark take on hero business.
We started with Japanese dub but I want to try the Chinese one because it is a Chinese production.

Not really a new show, but we started the 3rd season of #FireForce.
I have my gripes with the show, first and foremost how it treats the female characters (Tamakiās āquirkā š) but apparently I liked the first seasons enough to not want to skip the 3rd.
It was good to have a quick summary at the beginning which made sense in context (Åbi reporting) and brief enough to not feel like a recap, since it was some time since season 2.
So far itās set up a rather drastically new situtation which feels like a good starting point for a new season, and did a good job re-introducing the characters.
I guess Iām mostly looking forward to some cool fights and a lot of madness.
First new show I tried out is #Vigilante.
God knows I didnāt quite like how the main series turned out, but GGO has shown that a spinoff can be a completely different thing.
I donāt really get that vibe from āVigilanteā. The main character feels very much like how Midoriya could have ended up if he didnāt meet All Might.
I was also not thrilled by those thugs that kept reappearing throughout the first episode and are coming back with more powers, because I have zero expectations that their motivation and background will be explored at all making them paper flat villains.
Knuckleduster seems the most interesting, although heās kind of extreme. I guess I will stay to see where this goesā¦

Food For The Soul Episode 1 Impressions
Well well well, back to back Cute Girls Doing Cute Things anime shows.This one with college girls and food, so let's go!
I think I like this just slightly better than Mono. Food is always a plus in my book. Also I like to see a CGDCT anime with college age students.
I liked how bright and colorful the restaurant is when Mako goes in. As an introvert, Mako just speaks to me. Especially when she overthinks the situation and ends up almost missing out because of it. Been there!
Yeah, I'm definitely watching more of this one.
Mono Episode 1 Impressions
I love Laid Back Camp, so I was excited for this adaptation of his work about a photography club and its members.
It is definitely scratching the Cute Girls Doing Cute Things itch this season. The humor is on point. So far the photography parts have been a bit limited, but hoping it gets down to really showcasing it more.
Unless this completely nose dives in the coming episodes, this will be a must watch for me just based on my love for Laid Back Camp.
A Ninja and an Assassin Under One Roof Episode 1 Impressions
Oh damn, I didn't realize this was a SHAFT production. The presentation is great!
Oh this is a slice of life comedy anime... *Ninja gets brutally stabbed with her own kunai and dies*. Well that was unexpected... IT HAPPENED AGAIN!
This is a bit more violent than expected, yet still funny and colorful. Still can't say I'm completely sold just yet, but definitely watching a few more episodes to make up my mind.

The Shiunji Family Children Episode 1 Impressions
The show looks pretty good, and I like the character designs, especially of the sisters.
Based on the twist about the siblings, this is going to turn off a lot of people. Went in to a situation where siblings are not actually related by blood, and now we got a harem anime.. LOL
The sisters make me want to give this show a chance, so I'll see how the next 2 or 3 episodes go.
