Can your MC swim? If not, why not? If so, how did they learn?

The buoyancy of Terrans is not regularly tested on Terra itself.

Most waters are still considered toxic even if water refurbishment has come a long way.
Usually Terran bodys tent to not sink in the oceans, in cleaned water it looks quite different. Most swimmers come from colonies and it depends on the local composition of 'water' in combination with other factors, how good they could learn to swim.

However the Alliance does provide survival training for its military cadets and this most of my characters can swim, not very effective because most only 'swim' in micro or non gravity and air or vacuum are the worst to swim in, because the low resistance and compression capacity make for terrible propulsion capabilities. It would actually be more efficient to f*** your way forwards in micro/non gravity than try to propel yourself via swimming motion.

Eine deiner Figuren wird eines Verbrechens beschuldigt, das sie nicht begangen hat. Welche Schritte würde sie in deiner Welt unternehmen, um da wieder herauszukommen.

Sich eine Rechtsverteidigung suchen und gegen die Vorwürfe angehen.
Sie selbst dürfte dabei auch gar nicht soviel machen, da dies eventuell als Versuch der Einflussnahme auf Ermittlungen gewertet werden könnte.

⬅️ In case of politicans or brass members of the Union Military or the Union Alliance Military it's handled differently.

While the Unions Ministry for outward affairs handles the requests of foreign entities they stay in power as long they are not deemed guilty, in contrast any minister has to lay down their work immediately if an inner conflict arises. If as an example Terran Minister for outward affairs Sigourney Webster (Kira's second mother) would be accused by anyone inside the Union to have acted against the laws, she would have to temporarily lay down her mandate immediately. Same would be true for Admirals like Ron Hackett-Anderson in the Alliance.
That said members of the Union/Alliance, like Kira, who are able to call on their Shade status, can temporarily put this on hold, if a military action requires it, which will be investigated & demands justification the moment they would do so.

In case the SC is part of a crew they have to bow to the law enforcement according to what the captain seems necessary. Like getting released from duty to be taken into custody or being hold on board for the remainder of the mission & handed to Union law enforcement later.
In case of a foreign entity like Rimworlds the Union uses their "we"re not Union" stand against them. They have to fill out a request to Union law enforcement, going through the ministry for outward affairs, to handle the matter & may be allowed to represent their case to Union courts. It's a protective measurement because Union Citizens have died under foreign entity laws, that's why the Union doesn't shy away of using its military as a lever to handle such circumstances.➡️

Welche deiner Figuren, abgesehen von den Hauptfiguren, magst du besonders, und warum?

Meistens die mit der ich mich gerade am meisten befasse.

Was derzeit meine zweite Variante eines Spieler characters für DND ist.
Defakto ist es ein komplett neuer character (was die Regeln betrifft) aber dieser character stellt die Entwicklung eines alten characters dar der durch ein versehentlich erzeugtes Portal in eine andere Dimension gesaugt wurde.

In Star Ryde ist es Mondira Ramann weil ich mich derzeit wieder mit der Rimwelt Eodin befasse.
Während Terra & die Terraner doch sehr verschieden zu uns heute sind ist Eodin eine Welt deren Hauptstadt ein 20./21. Jahrhundert New York × Tokyo ist. Und bis auf einige seltsame Dinge wie Fischschuppenschokolade & Sexuelle Erziehung durch lizenzierte Trainer, ziemlich dicht an unserer Welt heute ist + Interstellare Raumfahrt & Alleininvasion.

The question hung in the air, like a 500 kilo orbit to ground slug in an antigravity anomaly. The interviewing person waited patiently.

Ariæne only starred into the room. Their eyes focused on something not visible for anyone else.

Ayanamis voice came through the rooms intercom. "I think you won't get any answers out of them today and honestly, I prefer it that way. You have might taken up enough of our hospitality. I kindly suggest that you depart immediately, before I might come to the conclusion, that you are not as valuable as I thought you to be. This would be highly... regrettable." The last sentence almost sounded cheerful.

Do any of your characters have food allergies or sensitivities?

Arkham has some weird interactions with meats.

She lived on the streets of a colony for quite some time & nothing ever came up, but as she joined the Alliance something changed. Her hypersensitivity started & it gets worse if she eats meat or animal products.
It's independent from the source, if it is lab grown, a real animal (which falls under sentient & sapient cruelty on a lot of planets) or printed in the EPI & basically made out of Equil. That why she eats mostly vegan, at times she tries ovo lacto vegetarian stuff but almost always it gets worse.
It seems the food isn't the source of her hypersensitivity but a contribution to the scale in which her body reacts.
Since she joined the alliance she relies on "dampeners" that tune down her body's reaction to stimulation.
Meat or animal products seem to scramble with that to a painful degree.

She poured the blood wine into her mouth, almost choking while swallowing, she coughed and turned turned her back against the counter & threw the crystal mug against the wall.

Ash's cold computer voice spoke.
"Kira? Are you okay, you blocked me and the sensors in your cabine... Can i do something for you?"

Kira forced herself to sound as normal as possible: "Only if you can grant wishes."

Ash's voice got less computery: "I'm not a Djinn, what is your wish?"

Kira snorted: "I wish alcohol could intoxicate me..."

Ash wanted to correct her that it technically still did and she just wasn't feeling it but changed her answer: "Shall we... talk?"

"Yeah, I would like that..."

⬅️ crackling noises filled the silence in. Kira leaned the glassy mug against her lip, shudders ran down her lip, chin neck and spine giving her goosebumps. She swallowed the full content in one big sip, put it down & poured herself a second before she closed of the bottle. As she wanted to grab the mug with her tight hand but stoped. She slumped down in front of the crystal vessel. Burrowing her eyes in her arms. Her voice sounded muffled.

"Swex Sis this was meant to celebrate our first missions success with you at the helm and now I'm downing half a bottle myself."
She grabbed the crystal with her whole left hand than her right too.
The cold stung in her flesh.
Tears started running down her cheek. From the pain inside or in her hand, she didn't knew. Her voice was shaking.
"What would I give to hear your voice again even if it was only one of your creepy remarks about my body. "To you Anika, my 'twin', my sister, my➡️

MC POV: What do you need right now?

Only Kira today.

Kira took a 'glass' out of her freezer, It steamed as the moisture of the air came into contact with its frosted surface, creating a little cloud of fog that waved down the mug shaped body of the handleless, open container.
She pured a dark red, semi liquid from a designed bottle into it, the bottle reed Original Klingon Blood wine.™
Technically the open container wasn't glass at all, but a crystal that could be frozen & transfer the cold rapidly, than slowly. The clear semi liquid had a sharp alcohol & hot metal note. As it got into contact with the the frosted surface, the heat transfer created water drops running down the 'mugs' body.
Forr a brief moment, it looked like the red inside was loosing the thermal battle, as the surface gently crystallized only to return to its former semi liquid state after some seconds. She grabbed it with her left hand, gentle ➡️

In einer Welt/Gesellschaft zu leben in der Geld ein Werkzeug ist & nicht das System hinter allem.

In einer Gesellschaft zu leben in der freue Liebe, Akzeptanz & Entfaltung akzeptiert & gefördert wird.

In einer Gesellschaft zu leben in der die Gemeinschaft gegen die Korruption von Güte, Liebe, Nachsicht, gemeinsamen Werten & allen was das Leben eines jeden einzelnen angenehm & Liebenswert macht, so Radikal vor geht, dass sich die manipulierenden es 6× überlegen ob es sich lohnt.
Wer der Gesellschaft wiederholt schadet wird entfernt, Empathie ist das höchste aber wer wiederholt auf eine Welt ohne sie hinarbeitet hat selbst nur die wenigste Empathie verdient.

Dass sie in einer Welt leben in der Blinde sich entscheiden können ob sie sehen wollen oder nicht & das einfach akzeptiert wird, fügt hier bitte alles mögliche ein was heute als "disabled" gilt.
Und sie dafür akzeptiert werden.

AJ:"Cursing my dreams, recollecting yesterday, the whole week before it, sometimes month or years. My memory is a garbeld mess. Something prevents me from making memories like an average Terran. My brain seems very selective with some memory while others are discarded as soon as I close my eyes to sleep. It makes no sense & the memories I desperately want to fade are present every night. At times it seems like a blessing that I only read about weeks of my nightmares, not remember them myself. It seems that my memory works best for military stuff. I still can de & reassemble my weapon in under 15 seconds even if I have a day or two between them. I can still cook & pep up MREs.
I even remember her smell, but her face... The words I remember.
Imagine starting every morning like this & most times I don't even remember logging it."

⬅️ der Teleportation kennen nicht funktioniert. Krankheiten rausfiltern? Nope!
Waffen im Teleportations moment deaktivieren? Keine Chance. Personen aus dem freien Fall retten. Nicht wenn das Schiff nicht die gleiche Geschwindigkeit fliegt um den Bewegungsmoment zu kompensieren (Aufpralltot bei Lichtgeschwindigkeit? Splatter movie trifft es da wohl am meisten).
Auf der anderen Seite habe ich aber die Möglichkeit diese Dinge Clever einzubauen, zum Beispiel Portale gezielt nutzen um Atmosphären auf Feindschiffen "abzusaugen."
Es gibt da moderne als auch antiquierte Lösungen für sowas, welche unter andern in den Waffen, Rüstungen etc zum Einsatz kommen.

Was das strukturieren angeht. Verschiedenste Schrift Dokumente und Link Sammlungen zu inspirationen zu Dingen die ich eingebaut habe und meine HashTags hier. Mastodon ist so gesehen das Alpha Wiki für die Entwicklung.

Wie organisierst du deine Recherchen/ Lore/ Hintergründe? Hast du ein System, das du empfehlen kannst?

Recherche: Ich folge einigen Science Communication influencern auf verschiedenen Plattformen bevorzugt jene die selbst einen Wissenschaftlichen Hintergrund haben sowie Lore Influencern verschiedener Franchises die mich interessieren. Da mir selbst das nötige Wissen (bzw die Resilienz und Antrieb zum Studieren fehlt) denke ich viel über das "Okay es funktioniert wohl so und so aber was wäre wenn das auch für XYZ ähnlich ist?"

Bspl: Teleportation/Beamen aus Star Trek und anderen Medien.
Das auflösen Atomarer Ketten um die Informationen dann zu einem anderen Ort zu senden und wieder zusammen zu setzen ist wahrscheinlich unmöglich. Da in meinem WIP Raum Manipulation existiert und vieles um Wurmloch artige Konzepte aufgebaut ist gibt es Portal Technologie ähnlich der Portal Spiele, das bedeutet aber das vieles was wir aus➡️

Wer hat die Umschlaggestaltung/Coverart deiner Bücher erstellt? Unveröffentlichte: Was möchtest du auf dem Cover deines Buches haben?

Wenn es soweit ist soll es die Ghoz'Tarc aufs Cover schaffen, ausgearbeitet von einem Kunstschaffenden Menschen mit den Fähigkeiten Raumschiffe detailreich auszuarbeiten, vielleicht noch 1-3 Charaktere Kira, Ariæne und ein Eltaryn vielleicht?
Sterne im Hintergrund oder ein Nebel (eventuell eher auf der Rückseite)

Das Schiff "fliegt" von rechts nach links mit einer vertikalen/horizontal leicht gekippten Achse so dass es plastisch wirkt. Links dann der Kopf von Kira dessen Blick der Richtung der Ghoz'Tarc folgt, rechts der von Ariæne der entgegengesetzt der Richtung von Kira guckt, dahinter, über beiden wie eine Krone des Unheils das Gesicht eines Eltaryn, frontal auf die lesenden fixiert.

Naja erstmal nur Hirngespinste bis ich endlich soweit bin.
