Here is my newest MOC (short for my own creation).
The USS Ilia named after the deltan officer in Star Trek TMP.
A chubby knockoff Voyager from Star Trek Voyager if it had an unholy relationship with the Enterprise E producing offspring... Yes, I know that is not how starships are made.

The nacelles can be positioned in several different ankles. I took apart a ship I had build prior to this one which I simply didn't like as much.

In contrast to my prior builds this one is made mostly from bought parts and fewer things I had in my Lego box since childhood.
It contains Lego, Bluebrixx and almost all the stuffed plates from the Aldi market I linked in the toot above.
The more monochrome design makes the build a bit quieter but also more repetitive looking which I tried to brake up by using some colors and flat tiles to change the look.
The build took around 24 hours total.

The USS Ilia from frontal birds eye perspective, the ship has a light grey base tone wit some elements in dark grey, beige yellow white and black.
The ship looks like a sister of the USS Voyager, from Star Trek Voyager if the Voyager would have been a bit more chunky and made out of bricks.
An Arrowhad shaped saucer Points towards the viewer the ankles nacelles and engineering section point towards the upper side of the picture. They are slightly angled different then the overall plane of the ship, of course many studs are visible as it is typical for Lego or Bluebrixx and other competitors. The ship lays flat on a towel which colors is warm beige yellow to rose and has a wave pattern. In the left upper corner a part of a dark blue book stand is visible.

Same ship same towel but this time the underside is visible as the ship lays flat on its back belly up so to speak.
The arrowhead is clearly visible in this angle, ship has a bright orange deflector in its engineering section, the visible notches on the underside give it a typical Lego feel.

A inch/cm scale is layed next to it showing it's length at 11 ft & almost 16 inches or 45 and a half cm.
The ship is positioned with its arrowhead pointing to the left and the nacelles pointing to the right.

My hand in a black sleeve holding the ships front into the camera, while resting in the same towel as before. The nacelles are folded down in this picture and the ship looks incredibly chubby. Watching this picture I really don't know how to describe it as a mix between a flat sad panda face or a puffed up snooty duckling face ...
The ship has a dark 'nose' and two bright beige yellow stud less pieces left and right from it.

Same set up as before but this time the nacelles are positioned more upwards almost getting invisible behind the saucer of the ship... I just realized now it's looks like a melting walrus after a satisfying meal smiling a bit dorkly...
