Ever hit that weird plateau where you're not burned out, just… stuck? Sometimes the best thing I’ve done is work on something small and pointless—just to shake the dust off. Not everything has to be a portfolio piece.

What’s your go-to reset?

🚨 Science is under threat.
Massive funding cuts to NASA, NIH & NSF could set us back decades — or even a generation.

This isn’t just about labs and telescopes. It’s about cures for cancer. GPS. MRI machines. The internet.
All built on basic research — by people who had no idea their work would one day change the world.

💡 Every $1 invested in science returns $2–3 in economic growth.
But more than that — science is human curiosity in action. It's how we dream bigger. It's how we move forward.

If we abandon it now, what future are we even fighting for?
🌌 “We float like a mote of dust in the morning sky.” – Carl Sagan

Not all paths are easy — some twist, turn, and make you squeeze through tight spots. But that’s where the magic happens.
Look up, change your angle, and you’ll see the world glow differently.

Because the best views aren’t on the main road.

There has always been a certain type of person that I've clicked with because of whatever connection they have to having more than just an on-line presence, we maintain an on-line personality that's a real part of us.

For instance, there's something in the way we make sure the default avatar for whatever corporate software platform (jira, slack, github, et al) is changed away from the default pic to our preferred avatar.

This is in fact one of the first things we do when we join a new company: make sure our avatars are us, not our initials or some generic person-head silhouette bullshit.

Today a friend was concerned if I'm doing well – I'm deep in my business and programming flow. My response was:
"Wenn ich logge, lebe ich noch" – auch wenn ich gerade nicht jogge.

Life’s basically one big mystery, and the best way to figure it out is by asking the right questions. Curiosity is what helps us grow, connect, and see things differently.

I'm a massive science nerd, and space is my greatest love!

I may not always understand it, but I'm captivated by it.

Neil deGrasse Tyson and many others fuel my curiosity, inspiring me with their insights.

The vastness of the universe, black holes, exoplanets, and the possibility of life beyond Earth are all mind-blowing!

Who else shares this obsession? 🚀✨
