It's something we tend to forget, I think. If we believe in God, we believe that He is the creator of ALL things, everything flows from Him. Therfore, all Good things must have an element of Him, and these elements should be sought after passionately. Whether that be a beautiful sunset, a quiet forest, a gorgeous woman, the laughter of a child, a good book, anything. The True, the Good, the Beautiful, these things we must search and cherish.

Through God, we can endure anything.

St Paul and Silas were attacked, beaten, and wrongfully imprisoned, and yet, they still sang hymns in their cells. This is faith. It is a faith deeper than many of us will ever know, but that level of faith, of reliance and trust in God, is what we strive for. The chances that the average American will be truly persecuted for their faith is low, the chances of imprisonment for our beliefs are nearly zero. We face different challenges, the pressures and stresses of modern life that can often make us want something as easy as being beaten half to death with rods.
We must remember, through God, we can endure anything

I try not to visit the past too much, or dwell there excessively.
But when you haven't portrayed a character in five years, and they still live in your head, you know that one way or another, you'll have to bring them back to life. Mr McKenna here is too interesting to keep locked away, and I rather suspect his entire look could do with a much- needed update...

✒️ Je vous écris ces mots depuis mon retour au présent de ce jour 🕰, à peine revenu de mon dernier saut spatio-temporel 🚀 à la Spinaotii 2024.

Que de belles rencontres et de beaux moments vécus lors de ce rendez-vous multiversel. Un brin nostal'geek, je ne peux que repenser, dans un passé recomposé d'images et de sons, à la traversée 🧭 de tous ces mondes réunis en un seul et unique endroit.

De la scène du concours de cosplay organisé par l'Association Cosplayers de France où j'ai pu raconter mon histoire en quelques mots, sous la bienveillance d'un auditoire enjoué, à mes déambulations dans les artères de cette cité dans la cité, j'ai pris plaisir à échanger avec un grand nombre de cosplayeuses et cosplayers débutant.e.s et confirmé.e.s mais toutes et tous passionné.e.s ainsi que des visiteuses et visiteurs curieuses/curieux et/ou avisé.e.s.

En empruntant le SteamWay, j’ai croisé le chemin de laurenapottier, kajika_midori, leakimilore et de andytherose avec qui j’ai pris le temps de me pauser et de poser pour un moment suspendu, jusqu’à ce que je sois aspiré d’un coup par une faille du SteamVerse et me retrouver face à un Pinocchio plus vrai que nature en la personne de wickedtitus_nimral.ffxiv qui m’a informé que j’étais arrivé directement dans le monde de Lies of P.

Que d’aventures inoubliables, passées aux quatre coins des univers étendus, j’ai vécu dans cette parenthèse, fixée dorénavant à tout jamais et pour l’éternité sur nombres de pellicules argentiques et numériques, à partager sans modération.
