I went for a #POTA activation at #plantenunblomen today. The conditions for shortwave contacts were a little rough due to a magnetic storm. Still I managed to get 39 QSOs into the logbook. Worked SSB and CW.

I went for a nice after work #POTA activation in the Stadtpark in Hamburg yesterday. Worked 20 stations on 18, 21 and 28Mhz. All were #morse code #cw contacts. It's nice that is is bright out for longer after the switch to daylight savings time.

This is a pic I shared with friends on New Year's Eve, Straight Key Night.

I've decided to keep the momentum going and go for my Centurion award with the Straight Key Century Club. If I get at least 2 QSOs a day then I'll have 100 QSOs within two months.

I started 4 days ago and I have 13 SKCC contacts. I'm getting better at straight key sending and that's been fun.

Activity in the #SKCC Straight Key Month activity seems to be down from previous years. I’ve worked K3Y/_ stations on all bands except for 80m, so it’s not a case of poor conditions. I’ll keep tuning.
