I didn’t vote for this incompetence or whichever it is

I voted to get way from the and corruption of the previous .

Why do they trust me less than I trust them? Can we have surveillance on ministers?

How come this lot is actually worse than the ones before?

Why can’t I object when they don’t act how they promise?

? ?
Who are you? Are you real people?

If they had the decency to pay some kind of compensation for improper harrassment, then this stupidity would be more costly than leaving them all to their own consciences.

Why not target the real and very expensive fraud in westminster for a change? Stop corruption now.

“Streeting says NHS ‘coping’ during resident doctors’ strike.” So it was all fear mongering to try and break the strike. Trade unions need to think very carefully before supporting this supposed ‘Labour’ government again. #Labour #Doctors #Unions #Streeting

Promoted beyond his abilities?
Past his sell-by-date?

Lammy appears to have been treated with the same brand of non-stick that chump uses. Mistake after mistake. He doesn’t know what is going on. Excuses. Failure. Prison escapes, poor management. Collusion with

Maybe it is time for to take his enormously bloated pension and get out of town, anyway.

Maybe, he should take the ‘bruvvers’ and with him.

Stop blaming medical staff, sort out the real problems.

Treat the cause, not the symptoms.

“A lack of social and community care can often result in delays getting medically fit patients out of hospital, which in turn can create bottlenecks in the urgent and emergency care system that result in longer ambulance handovers and A&E waits.”

Beyond belief that the British always expects beleaguered workers to back down, using crises as blackmail leverage.

Our NHS medical staff, all of them, have worked tirelessly since almost forever, despite the constant threats and cuts and lack of staff and lack of training.

Bad management and corruption of supply, starting at the very top. Sack the managers, pay medics more.

The Coconut and Ernst Rohm are on the same page on the erasure of Trans people and how it's politicians like them who are the real victims and why not think about them instead of those 'dirty AIDS queers'

This is what "fitting in" as a minority in British culture looks like, they get you to pull the trigger.

The feckwit doesn’t guarantee patient safety anyway - no one can. We just expect medical staff to do their best - and ‘pray’ that eejits like him with the levers of power take the eyes of their donors for a wee while to let the NHS get on with it.

Funny that Scotland appears to have negotiated appropriately isn’t it.

For those interested in the UK debate about the so-called “over-diagnosis” of ADHD this (by veteran health-related government “scourge”) Roy Lilley ⤵️ is a *must read*:

“Streeting's mental health review; is it a genuine attempt to look into the ‘sea of troubles’ so many people seem to be in, or is it just a crude attempt to find a way to cut the benefits bill?”

The right’s callous overdiagnosis bandwagon: #Streeting should avoid it

There's queasy whiff about his remit with strong echoes heard from overdiagnosis merchants

Mentions of economic inactivity prove a clear sense of pitch-rolling

Also telling uses of word medicalisation, term usually favoured by those who think many conditions do not need any #diagnosis

As is #ToxicLabour's habit, #Labour decided to speak to different audiences in contrasting ways

Catching up with the In-Laws from Blackburn we hear of a number of people who reported cancer like symptoms to GPs, only for nothing to happen and then within a year or so of symptoms getting worse then get a diagnosis of Stage 4 cancer.

Instead of indulging Ableist calls of "Overdiagnosis of mental health conditions" perhaps Streeting could fix that? Or does Private Healthcare not agree?

@Natasha_Jay

Lest we forget: Streeting accepted £15k from a donor with huge interests in privatised health care. The Electoral Commission register shows he received the donation from John Armitage, a hedge fund founder & manager who has given over £3million to the Tories. Streeting is an unprincipled Labour !

@georgemonbiot.bsky.social

Do doctors and other practitioners record an opinion of whether their patients are malingering?

Should be informed of their opinion?
Is this information recorded?

Otherwise, there can be NO INFORMATION for Mister to use to base a decision.

Please inform us

@georgemonbiot.bsky.social

From my previous post :-

So has plucked out of thin air the notion that people with mental health issues are malingerers rather than suffering any real decrease in health.

Another case where have produced a negative nit-picking non-solution to cut costs rather than address any real solution.

Please allow the medical to do their jobs.
