I informed StubHub of the problem over a week ago, and again yesterday. Both time's they've replied advising that they will "escalate the issue to our internal team" whatever that means.

But so far they've done nothing. I'd highly recommend not using the StubHub.com website if you care about your personal data.

So apparently someone with my surname has inadvertently (I assume) used my email address when buying tickets for a Garbage gig in Eastern Atlanta in Sept.
This probably wouldn't be a problem if the StubHub.com website they used had some security.
The website didn't get them to confirm they had access to the email account, so I can log in and see their name, phone number, home address, and presumably saved payment details if they had done that.
But I can't remove my email!

I think I won’t be using #StubHub anymore for baseball tickets. Just bought two for this Sunday’s #Nationals game, and the mobile tickets aren’t transferable. So we have to do the ridiculous dance at the turnstile of handing my phone to my wife after I’ve gone through.

It’s outrageous that StubHub thinks this is a good time for it to go public. The only reason this is happening is because the regulatory environment got a whole lot better for them in January. #IPO #useconomy #stockmarket #stubhub
