"The Rubik's Cube has been reimagined as a $299 tech gadget featuring 24 mini IPS screens, a gyroscope, accelerometer, speakers, and Bluetooth connectivity."
This world has lost its goddamn mind. Does *everything* have to be enshittified?

It is so aggravating that every phone update, I have to spend ten minutes uninstalling unwanted apps, checking to be sure settings haven't been altered, and squinting at whatever AI features are being pushed to make sure I'm opted out of them all. Makes me miss DOS, so it does.
This is why we need #tech literacy. This recipe site wants you to pay $2.99 USD to “print” the recipe.
To print. The recipe. That’s literally on the web page. For free.
Super+P and “Save as PDF.” You’re welcome.
Wut? Am I missing something?
Holy crap this looks like a privacy catastrophe from the moment you put this data miner on. There is no need for this technology. It solves no pressing problems.
There are questions of human survival that need solving. And yet, all the tax benefits and natural resources are being used by Si Vallee for these idiotic toys.

My Android dreams of me entering the PIN after it rebooted in my pocket for no reason at all.
I've noticed something I really don't like happening with keyboards lately. Laptop makers changing the layouts in ways that don't make things any better, but will mess up touch typists. The most obvious example recently is Microsoft trying to get laptop makers to replace the right control key with their bullshit "AI" Copilot key.
But now ASUS has decided to put a "Hashtag key" where the | \ key should be above the enter key.
Why? It's been right there at shift 3 for decades.
At risk of sounding like #oldmanshakesfistatcloud here, but why in the name of all that's sane do we have to download an app for everything now? We used to have websites.

Warning that Plex might be telling everyone what you’re watching, if you didn’t pay full attention to these screens 😮 Enshittification at its worst. I don’t trust Plex anyway so use Jellyfin media server/player

FFS! I use my phone to text, listen to podcasts, check social media on the toilet, take the odd snapshot, and, on rare occasions, make phone calls. I don't need or want whatever $1,500 worth of phone buys me.
Silly bar I am in has proximity sensors for the flush on the toilets.. but you still need to open and close the stall doors? Wtf! #stupidTech
@href blows germs everywhere, #stupidtech.
