It's not just around my town. A few years ago, another council destroyed the Den of Cowie outside Stonehaven. It used to be a beautiful cool shady stroll beneath tall beech trees, valuable on a summer's day. But now we have to have gravel paths and no trees.

The current american administration has likely presided over & accelerated the largest exodus of intellectual capital the US has ever had. They've achieved this by de-funding, sabotaging and disbanding the exact organisations that bright minds congregate at.
Now it seems they wish to stunt and disable their next generations advancement by hobbling the young peoples free access to the fundamental tools used to live and work in the technology age.
Such measures, will likely limit the next generations ability to advance, providing the administration a method to monitor, stifle and harass any growth the next generations american might make, based on their perverse ideological concepts & perceived wrong doing.
This is tantamount to facilitating child abuse and grooming at corporate and governmental scale.
