On 30 November, the new #MetroTunnel in #Melbourne 🇦🇺 opened that allows Metro Trains to avoid the city loop. Trains are currently running only every 20 minutes from 10 am to 3 pm providing direct services between #Footscray and #Westall. Regular service will start in February connecting #Sunbury with #Pakenham and #Cranbourne.

My better half isn’t feeling any better today.

Last night she was & was talking of a drive to #Sunbury for #lunch, but as the morning has gone along, she’s declined. Her appetite returned yesterday.

I have whipped out one of my #Victorinox #arthritis #peelers & have been slicing spuds & onions, cutting up tomatoes, splashing #WorcestershireSauce etc. & have just put a batch of #devilled #sausages into the oven.

Lunch will be a little late, but I think it’ll hit the spot.

Despite charging us for 2 meals & giving us only 1 - with a very long hair in it! - in correspondence received yesterday, they hope we’ll go back & give them another try!

I couldn’t call what they served us “Mexican food”.

The beef was tasteless, having no flavour apart from the sauce that was on it.

The long hair mixed in the meat didn’t do much for my appetite either.

Oh well, we tried this new #Sunbury eatery.

We won’t bother with them again.

So, as a treat, today after the doc removed my mole, we went to #GuzmanyGomez #Sunbury to try their Mexican “clean food”.

I was instantly surprised at the high cost. Then I was surprised that they checked our order FIVE times and we only received one meal.

Not the two we ordered and paid for! And to add insult, we found a very long hair in the one meal we did get!
