The attached black and white photograph shows much of the old Super Duper Plaza: - the current location of the Brattleboro Food Coop and parking lot.

The Super Duper Plaza never looked quite this bleak ... or shabby. The supermarket, itself, had a highly unusual feature. The floor had warped badly and there was a hump of good size that one needed to push a shopping cart up over. It was even more fun pushing a cart down the other side of the hump. I am glad I never ran over anybody with a heavy cart. In those days, downtown supermarkets included the Super Duper, the Grand Union, and the A&P. To the right of the photo was the old Idlenot Restaurant which made ice cream sundaes that couldn't be beat. Further to the right, beyond our field of view, is one of the spots where Brattleboro's recycling program got started. There was a place where one could deposit one's recyclables. Curbside pickup came much later.

We've decided to not wait any longer for Apple to fix an 'asr’ (and/or boot process) bug, and have implemented a workaround that significantly improves bootability under Ventura and later.

It'll be in our next beta, due tomorrow…

Aktualizacja macOS Sequoia 15.3 naprawiła błąd uniemożliwiający tworzenie bootowalnych kopii zapasowych w aplikacji SuperDuper.

Problem pojawił się w wersji 15.2, gdzie błąd „Resource Busy” występował podczas kopiowania plików systemowych.

Mimo naprawy, deweloper Dave Nanian ostrzega, że nie gwarantuje to działania kopii w każdej sytuacji, zwłaszcza na komputerach z Apple Silicon, które wymagają sprawnego wewnętrznego dysku SSD do uruchamiania zewnętrznych kopii.

Hey there — the pinned topic in the forum regarding doing a #SuperDuper clone alongside Time Machine is pretty old. Does it still hold? Any updated recommendations or guidance?

Announcing SuperDuper v3.9.1, with a fix and a blog post that I definitely wrote this time, and did not imagine writing.

Note that if you're not seeing this update (a timing issue can make the update notice intermittent in v3.8), check for updates in the Application menu.
