#Fascists support fascist #ideology of #supremacy, legitimizing the #oppression of other people and even killing them. #Zionism in the sense of „#Israel needs to exist as a save space for #jews" is flawed, arguably a colonial project but understandable after #holocaust...from an eurocentric perspective. Aggressive zionism ( „Greater Israel" etc) on the other hand is obviously as wrong and disgusting as #antisemitism, #racism etc.

Herby Revolus is discussing dimensions of #supremacy culture, something that so many people are induced to participate in, knowingly or unknowingly.

One of the tricks of supremavy culture is forced dualism. For example, supremacy culture compels the belief that people have to be either in love with the individual OR the collective. The left can roll its eyes about the importance of individualism; the right vilifies the collective, the civic space, the social good. Who wins?

#Jazz is a wonderful analogy. The collective agrees on a shared story and individuals have opportunities to share their interpretation. Individual musicians use the instruments to bolster the collective support of the solo.

A #thriving and just #democracy acts for the good of the individual AND the society. This is not compromise. @muiren
