Comedy duo hit Swansea and Gower in new Pod of Wales travel series

Kiri Pritchard‑McLean and Esyllt Sears return for a third season of their travel‑meets‑comedy podcast, showcasing hidden gems across Cymru with their signature mix of banter, belly laughs and local love.

The Swansea & Gower episode sees the pair sample surfing in Caswell Bay, tuck into tapas at El Pescador, and explore the revamped Albert Hall food hall — which Kiri admits she’d never visited before.

The duo also visit Glynn Vivian Gallery and Penderyn’s Swansea Copperworks Distillery, before heading west for a walk from Gower Heritage Centre to Three Cliffs Bay.

Esyllt said:

“I already know that Wales is the best and most beautiful country in the world, but throughout this series, Kiri and I are constantly discovering more reasons why this is.”

I'm not exactly #newhere, but since I've switched platforms, I'll briefly introduce myself again. I'm Dani and I've been in the Fediverse since mid-2025. I'm a #punk and an anti-fascist. My great passion is #punkrock, or more specifically, everything to do with concerts in the scene. I play with, book and manage @lovefortydown. I also put on shows myself for over 10 years. I've since given that up due to time constraints. What remains is festival management and booking for #thebrokenfest.

I also maintain token interests such as #films (especially music documentaries), books (especially biographies of musicians), #skateboarding, #surfing and campfires in the garden. And although I'm not an IT specialist, I am tech-savvy and therefore always interested.

After diving into the Fediverse completely haphazardly, the lovely people at #punkstodon found me and welcomed me into their family. Now I've finally got around to making the long-overdue move and have landed in my actual Fedi home.
