i can't tell if i think this is lazy or not? i have been back and forth with the power company.

they seem to be suggesting that i am somehow on a non-supported path. except i am on an mvno using Verizon and xfinity mobile dedicated infrastructure for 5G in PHL.

STIR/SHAKEN relies upon routing that is kept SIP from end-
to-end. Regardless of what an originating carrier does in
regards to creating the properly signed tokens within the
networks, if a given call traverses a non-supported link within
the network, the additional messaging required to accomplish
proper STIR/SHAKEN labeling will be lost in the transit, even if
the bearer channel data that carries the audio path is
connected successfully.
Many carriers, including some major telecom providers, still
utilize some legacy systems for inter-carrier connections.
These connections are frequently among the last systems to
be updated in the carrier networks, as taking them out of
service is costly and impacts their ability to reliably deliver
customer calls. Our current outbound calling provider is STIR/
SHAKEN compliant and provides either an "A" or "B" level
attestation which has been signed by their own OCN that is

so I have a rotary phone that I bought off of eBay. However, it has a very strange connector. At first I thought it was some strange coax variation. It's threaded, bigger on the bottom if you're holding it so the end is up. I sent ChatGPT a picture of it and it said it was a 505A bell connector, used up till the late 70s. Do y'all know where I can find a suitable adapter for such a thing that converts it into RJ11? For the life of me, I cannot seem to find one. I searched round 4-prong to RJ11 as well as 505A to RJ11 adapter, as it also listed that as one of it's names as well.

Should I try to avoid it as much as possible to limit potential recordings of my voice and face or are they supposed to be well behaved?
Their ToS seem relatively harmless but the product does not seem to be open-source so I'm not sure how much one can trust it.
