Halloween for me starts with an "rm -Rf" in the wrong directory. A moment of panic.
Then, in a flash, I remember that the FreeBSD jail in question is on ZFS, and I have zfs-autobackup running every 15 minutes on the entire machine. Unable to roll back the entire jail (there were other data in motion), a "zfs clone" of the snapshot and an rsync from the snapshot to the running jail did the trick. I was back on track in 30 seconds.

Love ZFS, love FreeBSD. 🎃👻
