I've been a huge fan of podcasts for an awful long time & this interview with the older brother of Eddie #VanHalen is great. He's published an #autobiography & the interviewer, #terrygross of #FreshAir, clearly read it.
The brothers were born & raised in their early years in #indonesia, later moving 1st to the #netherlands & then #nyc with their parents, an #indonesianmother & #dutchfather.
Eddie Van Halen died of #cancer in #2020, I hadn't heard about that until this year. #Podcast link below.

Aw, Teri Garr died. She was SO smart and funny and talented. I think I may have to do my own little Teri Garr filmfest. 😢

Fresh Air replayed Terry Gross' 2005 interview with her. It's a wonderful listen. I'm going to request her autobiography from the library.

And I did not realize she had MS. It didn't seem to slow her down at all (her autobio, btw, is called "Speedbumps" 😆 )
