So it would seem that #TescoExpress stores have removed some of the cheaper #Tesco branded goods and are forcing us to buy the more expensive #TescoFinest version.

Case in point - Wholemeal Medium Sliced Bread. No longer stocked in the convenience stores, so instead of paying 80p for a loaf you now pay more than twice that.

How is that helping people with the cost of living challenges?

Sure, there is other bread (in this particular example), but it is bad form from #Tesco to penalise people just for the convenience of the local store rather than going to a larger #Tesco store.

I expect to pay a small premium for the convenience of the #TescoExpress because it is just that - convenient. But the standard everyday items should be stocked, and not removed as they have been in the last week or two.

Perhaps this is why #Tesco has recorded record profits even with the cost challenges we all face.
