Today is the birthday of Ray Davies of The Kinks. As he would gladly say himself if he was here, his last name is pronounced the same as Davis. It amazes me the number of rock writers who can't follow something this simple even when they hear it directly from Ray.

#LostAndFound von #TheKinks wurde im Februar 1987 als Single aus dem Album #ThinkVisual veröffentlicht, das 1986 Platz 81 der Billboard 200 erreichte. Geschrieben von Ray Davies, nutzt das Lied die Symbolik eines Hurrikans, um Lebenskrisen darzustellen. Trotz kreativer Ansätze blieb die Single ohne Chartplatzierung. Neben „Lost and Found“ wurden auch „Rock ‘n’ Roll Cities“ und „How Are You“ ausgekoppelt.
