I was interested in seeing the #Apple film #TheLostBus (2025) at the theater but its run was very limited & short-lived, as generally is the case for Apple produced movies, which are usually only shown on #AppleTV & almost never released on DVD by Apple.
Fortunately, I was able to find it on an alternative streaming site & watched it yesterday.
Based on a true story, the movie is about a school bus driver, played by Matthew McConaughey, who has all kinds of personal issues but who becomes the unlikely savior of 23 kids who are trapped in a bus with him & a teacher trying to escape for the fire in Paradise, CA, which burned down the entire town & much of the surrounding area back in 2018.
I liked the movie, although I wondered why he was able to drive thru the fire to safety later when he was told earlier that the road was blocked. 🤷♂️
Well worth watching if you can find it & I'd buy a DVD of it if one is ever released.

This tension-packed film tells the harrowing story of a school bus driver, grade school teacher, and 22 elementary school students trying desperately to escape the 2018 Camp Fire that destroyed the City of Paradise, California.

Viewers will definitely be on the edge of they seats/sofas while viewing this memorable film.

One can only shake their head in awe (and fear) of the overarching power of Mother Nature when she’s been wronged by humanity’s disregard for the Earth.

We owe them such an enormous debt of gratitude regardless of their place of birth for putting their lives on the line to protect us. It’s dedication like this and/or in service to our nation through the military, that should be rewarded and commended…not coldly tossed aside.

Zachęcony powszechnie pojawiającymi się recenzjami, jestem po obejrzeniu #TheLostBus od #Apple. Albo ja się nie znam, albo muszę film obejrzeć jeszcze raz (co się raczej nie wydarzy). W tym filmie nie ma nic, zero. Jednyne na co można zwrócić uwagę to może zdjęcia. Ja wiem, że to film oparty na prawdziwych wydarzeniach, ale ludzie, z czym do ludzi.
